Prince once asked in a song (When Doves Cry) ‘maybe i’m just like my mother..she’s never satisfied’. pearl jam has a song that in the chorus it asks ‘why be satisfied’ (All Night). That’s a good question. Why be satisfied when you could always have or get more? That is a terrible way of thinking in some ways. Being greedy can force you to gamble and make poor choices and you could lose what you already have. I wonder, will I ever be satisfied with anything?

Last night I went to see the movie Taken.  It was a really good movie and all, but afterwards I was driving home and I decided that I should feel horrible about seeing that movie.  In the movie the girl gets sold to some other people, and they drug her and turn her into a prostitute to make money.  I was thinking how sick it is that things like that are actually happening in other countries, and we as Americans go the movie theater to watch it for enjoyment.
